At Hostinger, as an Accountant, you will be a key player in managing our tax activities and ensuring compliance with tax regulations across the globe. You will oversee various tax calculations and submissions, keep a close eye on deadlines and engage with local as well as foreign tax consultants and authorities.

What You Will Do:

• • Collect and process sales and corporate tax data (VAT, GST, CIT, and others) and submit to consultants or authorities.
  • Keep track of tax reporting deadlines, foresee upcoming payment dates, and initiate the necessary payments.
  • Reconcile and write off taxes, track tax liabilities and overpayments.
  • Make entries to the accounting system to accurately reflect tax data.
  • Give advice on common tax-related questions to the finance team and other departments.
  • Communicate with tax consultants and tax authorities.
  • Participate in new tax registrations, research foreign tax legislation, gather required documents, and set up the necessary processes.
  • Support the Tax Manager during various tax-related projects and tax audits.

What We Expect:

• • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Tax field.
  • Knowledge of Lithuanian direct and indirect taxation principles.
  • A keen interest in tax research, including reading laws and publications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment.
  • A team player with a proactive mindset, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Motivation to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
