Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security roles.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).
Familiarity with penetration testing, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under pressure.
Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s digital infrastructure and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
Implement and maintain security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses.
Develop, review, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Provide training and awareness programs for employees to minimize human-factor risks.
Collaborate with IT teams to design secure system architectures and cloud environments.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
Investigate security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Document and report findings, incidents, and security improvements to management.
