Job Desk

  1. Researching new vendors/ product owners and contacting potential new vendors to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  2. Plan approaches/ pitches and arrange meetings with prospective vendors
  3. Launch their product on the marketplace in a timely manner
  4. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-launch support
  5. Work closely with the Vendor Growth Management team to ultimately hand off high volume vendors
  6. Forecast personal and department sales targets
  7. Collaborate with Director of Business Development and VP of Sales to ensure strategy aligns with overall company goals
  8. Keep accurate account information, potential sales opportunities, and onboarding statuses in Salesforce
  9. Build a thorough knowledge of the direct response industry, the solutions/ services Digistore24 provides, and
    the company’s competitors
  10. Attend industry functions such as events and conferences with the goal of onboarding new vendors
  11. Occasional travel required

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Conflict resolution
  • 1-3 years of Business Development experience
  • Client/ Customer service experience required
  • High School diploma required, degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Marketing preferred
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
