Position Overview:

Our client a well established professional services organization is seeking a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring accurate and efficient bookkeeping processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and advanced skills in Excel. If you are a meticulous individual with a passion for numbers and a proven track record in bookkeeping, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

– Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.

– Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including chart of accounts, customer/vendor profiles, and transaction entries.

– Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements with financial records.

– Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support management decision-making.

– Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.

– Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills required.

– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

– Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger posting.

– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.

– Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.

– Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
