Position Summary

SKF Canada is looking to hire a Service Sales Manager for Eastern Canada (MB, ON, QC and Maritimes). The Service Sales Manager (SSM) is responsible to manage existing accounts from a sales perspective as well as create new accounts/customers by following the sales process, excelling at lead generation, closing deals and increase sales for SKF Technology in their assigned territory. SSM is also accountable for effective pipeline development and management, that lead to profitable and sustainable growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Engage and maintain relationships with SKF’s key stakeholders & Channel Partners and successfully manage an end customer, opportunity-based sales plan designed to expand product sales, and strive to deliver an overall flawless customer experience.
  • Adhere to SKF defined sales process; leveraging technology to provide efficiency and increased value to our customer base.
  • Deliver consistent year-over-year sustainable profit growth within the assigned portfolio of business.
  • Employ Sales Excellence process in development of offer and presentation of insights to move documented opportunities through the funnel to closure.
  • Enhance, broaden, and deepen key customer relationships that ultimately leads to business growth through proactive, consistent customer connection.
  • Develop and set relevant sales performance target goals and KPI’s with focus on sales and profit goals geared towards profit growth, pipeline development, closed business deals/projects, and retention of accounts.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Bilingual, English and French.
  • Condition monitoring products and manufacturing industry knowledge a plus.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit who is self-driven.
  • Purposeful action taker with a positive, “can do” attitude.
  • Proactive time management & territory planning skills.
  • Strong account management & multilevel selling skills
  • Adept at managing complex organizations & situations.
  • Leadership skills and ability to influence others.
  • General industry knowledge, application, and technical / mechanical skills.
  • Previous experience in steel, refinery, paper, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or similar background preferred.
  • Ability to lead and / or work within multi-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience with CRM tools a plus.
  • Availability for overnight travel approximately 50% of the time.
