Core Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our brand visibility and engagement across various platforms. This includes creating compelling content, scheduling posts, analyzing performance metrics, and engaging with our audience.
  • Brand Development: Work closely with the marketing team to refine and enhance our brand identity. This involves coordinating with graphic designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Email Campaigns: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletter distribution, promotional announcements, and targeted outreach, to drive engagement and conversions. Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness. Ensure that all email campaigns are compliant with latest industry regulations and will not negatively impact IHUBApp trust score. Candidates should have knowledge of factors such as email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), maintaining clean email lists, avoiding spam traps, and managing subscriber engagement to minimize the risk of being flagged as spam.
  • Paid Advertising: Participate in the management and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across social media, search engines, and other digital platforms. This includes budget allocation, target audience segmentation, ad creation, and performance analysis.
  • Corporate Website Management: Regularly update and maintain the corporate website to ensure it accurately reflects our brand, offerings, and latest news. Collaborate with web developers and designers to enhance site functionality and user experience.
  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Play a key role in executing marketing strategies to meet growth goals. This involves collaborating with the marketing team to develop innovative campaigns, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, website traffic, and social media engagement. Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting successes, learnings, and recommendations for future initiatives.

Requirements:

All candidates for this role must meet all eligibility requirements outlined by the IRAP, Youth Employment Program (YEP). The YEP requirements outline that the candidate must be between the age of 15 to 30 years of age at the time of hire, be a post-secondary graduate, a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada. The candidate must be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations, and a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy work experience program targeted at post-secondary graduates. To succeed in the role the candidate should have the following achievements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on social media management and brand development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of trust score and reputation management when pertaining to email.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a knack for interpreting data to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website management is a plus.
  • Certified Hubmaster applicants will be given preference.
