About the Role:

As the Customer Service Team Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing a team of internal and external resources dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. You’ll oversee customer interactions on the NSW Planning Portal and NSW Planning website, ensuring positive experiences for all stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include coaching staff, optimizing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

About You

  • Strong people leadership skills with prior experience in leading teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships.
  • Ability to think on your feet, outside the box, and influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience with different CRMs (e.g., PEGA, Oracle, or Salesforce) is desirable.
  • Prior experience in a contact centre, planning, or government setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage high-volume workloads.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving continuous improvement.
