About our Requirements:

We are looking for experienced Cloud Engineers who are highly skilled in Azure infrastructure and operations. In this role, the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the build and implementation of new systems and day-to-day system administration and maintenance to support the client’s systems and cloud-based infrastructure.

This is a full-time role, working within a growing and supportive team to support and maintain Azure based cloud environments, while also liaising with various software development teams to support delivery in an Agile project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure.
• Drive infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives for both On premises and Cloud systems.
• Provide design input and documentation for new solutions.
• Drive the upgrade of the end user compute platform.
• Drive and contribute to infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain supporting documentation of solutions and production systems.
• Production support through troubleshooting and resolving issues as required.

Essential criteria

• Demonstrated minimum 5 years’ experience with Azure including building new solutions and supporting existing environments.
• Demonstrated ability with implementing automation for solution deployments.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated experience working within an Agile environment.
• Are able to hold an Australian Federal Government security clearance.

Desirable criteria

• Integration of cloud with on-premise solutions.
