Position Overview:

Catholic Tech is seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in product development within the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance the educational experience for our students and faculty. Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze requirements for AI-based product development projects.

– Design and develop software solutions using AI technologies, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

– Implement algorithms, models, and data pipelines to enable intelligent decision-making and automation.

– Optimize and improve existing AI systems and algorithms for enhanced performance and scalability.

– Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure reliability and functionality.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.

– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on software solutions for maximum user satisfaction.

– Document software designs, processes, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

– Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.

– Experience in developing AI-based applications and products, including proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.).

– Strong knowledge of AI technologies, such as machine learning, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), natural language processing, and computer vision.

– Familiarity with software development tools and frameworks, version control systems, and cloud computing platforms.

– Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

– Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Prior experience in educational technology or e-learning platforms is a plus.
