The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s creative team and make a real impact on student recruitment, engagement, and brand visibility.
As a Graphic Designer, you will produce high-quality, visually engaging materials that bring marketing campaigns, events, and brand initiatives to life. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, under the supervision of the Graphic Design Team Leader and the Head of Content, Creative & Communications, to translate project briefs into creative outcomes that align with the University’s identity and marketing goals.
You will also contribute to the development of a self-service design portal and explore the use of AI to enhance creative workflows, helping the University stay at the forefront of digital-first, accessible design.


What Success Looks Like:

Deliver creative, high-quality graphic design solutions for marketing, student recruitment, and events
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop digital and print assets that align with the University’s brand
Support campaigns and service delivery with engaging, accessible design
Contribute to the development of self-service design resources and AI integration
Ensure all outputs meet accessibility, compliance, and brand standards

About You

A relevant undergraduate degree and/or demonstrated experience in graphic design or visual communication.
Proven experience in producing design work in response to client briefs, ideally with a digital first approach.
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of contemporary design trends, utilizing AI in design and digital-based design standards.
